hi Everyone,

I'm busy as hell this year trying to raise funds for Plymouth Folk Festival after last year's fund failed to materialise. There's a sad story behind why they didn't get the grant, but a bit hush hush at the moment.

We're organising themed concerts throughout the year, song comp, (I will actually be baking cakes and stuff and serving afternoon teas. god I'm desperate!!!!!!!!) AND a Medieval Banquet and Wassail and loads of other strange things. I'm quite enjoying it all too.

Rules and entry form for this year's song comp, last year's winners and .... that's all really, posted here.

I suppose it's small potatoes and hardly worth bothering with unless you live in the UK, but I thought the UK Mudcatters might find it fun/useful/inspiring...If a few dozen people enter, we can give away bigger cash prizes. Can I tempt anyone?

Cheers

Deni

Refresh.

It wasn't until I'd let this message go that I thought, the Help at the start makes it look like we're looking for prize money. we aren't, just songwriter/entrants...

Cheers

Deni
