Subject: RE: Detroit-area folks: song party my house From: Spartacus Date: 16 Jan 03 - 11:01 AM Hi. i'm over her in Ann Arbor. It doesnt sound bad. What sort of music will there be? what sort of instruments? How many people are you expecting? Is it primarily and older crowd? what time does it start? Sorry about all of the questions, but i've been to a ton of "my songwriter friends are coming over" things before, with alot of mixed results. I've become a little leary, although i'm always intrigued. -Spartacus |

Subject: RE: Detroit-area folks: song party my house From: David Ingerson Date: 17 Jan 03 - 12:16 PM Silly me. I thought you meant Detroit, Oregon. And I would have been there, too! Hope you get some good people together! David |
Subject: RE: Detroit-area folks: song party my house From: GUEST,maire-aine at work Date: 17 Jan 03 - 01:51 PM I don't really have answers to your questions. There could be 5 people, or there could be 15. Most of the folks who've been invited are folks who play Irish music around the Detroit area, because those are the folks I have contact with. Guitars, mostly, altho there maybe a fiddle-player or a whistle-player around, too. If I can get into Mudcat when I get home tonight, I'll PM the list of folks. At this point, all I can promise is that the food will be good. |
