Does anyone have the lyrics to this song that came out some 30 years ago and it is not the same tune that is listed in googles by Bryan White.The tempo and tune are completely different.Louie Roy

George there is a couple who sings this other version on the other side of the mountain about 300 miles from here but I will see them in the next week or so and maybe they will be so kind as to give me the words and if they do I will post the lyrics.The song that Bryan White claims he wrote has many words of the original song that was wrote at least 30 years ago and not in 1995 when Bryan claims he wrote this tune.The author I have no idea and I don't think this couple does either Louie Roy

That seems to be the same one he's saying is this Bryan White fellow.

I looked at a large number of these sites and they were pretty much the same.

Thanks Sorcha,Gene and George for your imput,but what Sorcha posted is the same one that Bryon White claimed he wrote in 1995 and many of the words he used are in the original song by that title that was popular at least 30 years ago and I don't have the foggist who did it On googles he even has a full recording and he changed the tempo.Like I said when I get together with this couple east of the mountain I'll get the Lyrics and post and then maybe we can find out the true author Louie Roy
