You should book Crucible, they are from Sheffield and were really well appreciated on their Canada tour this Summer.

Know the Crucible bunch but as the venue is very small there may be more of them than the audience.

Saw Michael Marra last Sunday (supporting Loudon Wainwright III). Thought he was excellent. Never heard of or seen before. Must watch out for gigs in the future. Apparently he's bin described as a scottish Jacques Brel....

Not a PEL excemption trick. Just an attempt to try something away from the norm. It won't be on set day, irregular gigs, advertising via e-mail, subscription list, working with agents to fill gap dates and perhaps getting acts at a cheaper price. It's a small room I'm going to use 40 max.
