Hull University have awarded Norma a honary degree, i think its a phd, but not sure.
it was in the loca paper about it, but i chucked it away by mistake, before copying the article out.

paper said something like=
University bloke said "Norma is a really good singer, so we gave her this award"

Norma said "Cheers for the award, it's really nice".

then there is a photo of norma and university bloke, holding an award.

Norma- I hope you had a memorable birthday, and wish you long life and joy to fill it. The little English country bonnet you sent to me still hangs on my wall and reminds me of you often.
