7PM - doors open
7:30PM Concert
Wine and cheese to start. Potluck desserts and coffee at half time.
Song Circle afterwards.

Who's in? Who needs a bed?
$15 admission/ 100% to performers.

I'd love to come, but realism compels us to put off a Maine trip until:

- there's not much likelihood of snow or freezing rain on route;

- we have the new van back on the road, and the nights are warm enough to sleep in it; and

- Kris's school in on its third trimester (starting about 3/10) and she teaches only one class, third period, instead of three, the first three periods, as now.

So we'll be along, but not quite yet.

What a grand mix these two are! I'm just going to have to replay memories of the concert they did here two Labor Day weekends ago - too far to hike from Ohio.

John's a long time favorite song treat and his introducing us to Deb was a memorable night. It's a comfort that I get half the duo in concert tomorrow night when Deb comes to snowy Cleveland

John and Deb, wouldn't you like to do a concert in that pretty Episcopal church in Lodi? My wife and I saw Deb there last year.

Heard from Peter and Joanne last night. They are definites. Turning into a decent sized crowd. Somehow, John and Deb do draw them out even in winter.
Wish maeve and TL could see their way down for a night of music. I'll even turn the heat up to 72 for you.

Hmm, tried to post earlier but it didn't work.

The hens are celebrating longer days with increased egg production, so there be eggs... I'll bring some along to the South Portland Concert House & Mini-Farmers Market!

(PM me if anybody would like any home-grown pork, grass-fed beef, or black trumpet mushrooms. I can tuck a couple extra items in the cooler and bring them along.)

Cuilionn, some beef would be lovely--I'll bring some extra $$. I got eggs before and they were delicious, but I don't go through eggs that fast. Meat can be frozen if it doesn't get et right away.

Mary-- hope your cold is improving--or, rather, your ability to fight it! I'm fighting a cold too, but I HAVE to be well enough to attend the concert, because the day before is my birthday and I intend to celebrate by getting out to soak up some MUSIC!

I met Charlie Ipcar when he was singing at Bull Feeney's last Monday. I happened to mention John Roberts to him, who I knew from a distance at Pinewoods camp (English Country Dance etc)in the 1970's and '80s. Charlie mentioned this concert and I would love to attend. I live in South Portland. (Lived for 50 years in Cambridge, MA) If it is acceptable that I come could you please tell me where it is. Thank you, Jack Lynch
