Susette and I will be in Rome (Italy) Sept 4-7 and then onto Ortona where she is speaking at a conference (I'm her guitar player and baggage handler).

As always we would be glad to meet up with Mudcatters and other folkies in the area. And of course any info or suggestions for things to do and see in Rome would be welcome.

cheers,
chance

"and there was a deafening silence in mudcatville..."

are there no mudcatters in Rome or Italy at all?

Well, it's always worth a try.

thanks katlaughing for the freshening...

We were just in Rome this June. A guide gave us a valuable tip. Go to a newstand and buy a copy of "Roma Che," which is a small magazine. (1 euro) Look under International and World music in the calendar at the back.

When we were in Rome, we did that and found a wonderful harp concert. It was one of the best things in a two-week trip.

"Roma Che" also led us to a wonderful exhibit of the works of Albrecht Durer.
