Pretty quirky but enjoyable new show from the BBC. Only 3 episodes but delves quite well into Country music and its history

Like the recent attempt by Griff Rhys Jones a total embarrassment featuring so called 'celebs' who know absolutely nothing about the subject.

"delves quite well into Country music and its history"   ???

Are you serious?

Rob Brydon seemed a real fan and was able to sing quite a few lyrics from memory.
The show didn't aspire to a serious study but was entertaining, as far as I was concerned.

For those who do not know, Rob Brydon is an actor, comedian, impressionist, presenter and writer. He is also a fellow of the Royal Welsh college of music and drama, where he studied. This particular documentary was about him learning something about country music and he came across as genuinely enthusiastic.

I also learned something and if anyone feels that there is a more entertaining documentary, please feel free to point me in that direction.

Simple answer Dave the Gnome. Ken Burns series. The BBC were repeating their truncated series of 9 programmes within the last week or two. There are in fact 16 programmes in total.
You might enjoy those and really learn a bit more.
