A very public thank-you to Sorcha. After asking for recommended fiddle tunes, she's sent me (post, mind you, from the US to the UK!) a list of tunes, transcriptions of some of the more obscure tunes, and a cassette of her playing them!

Absolutely brilliant Sorcha, and many thanks. And if I'm ever over there (or you're over here), I owe you several pints!

WOW! I can't believe it arrived already, I only posted it last Friday! Sooz, ya want a tape? What cha want on it? (I'm gonna get some 60 min. tapes, tho. Filling up a 90 was a bummer!!)

Of COURSE I want a tape. Put on whatever you like, whatever makes you laugh. I want to hear that laugh. Been too long since I heard it.

Of course if you put hymns on I'll have to put in the Gospel Tape Lending Library. That would make it the first commissioned for it.

But I'd rather you just have fun and send me a tape of that.

I know. Put on the set you'd play at that coffeeshop. *G*

And hey bes/bud, better watch how you post here or some folks will conclude you are actually a nice person. Can't have THAT.

I happen to know for a fact that Sorcha is nice...but I won't tell anyone. (She mailed me a dulcimer, music and postcards from beautiful Wyoming!)

Sooz, I'll send you a tape of the whole band, OK? It's better than just me in the kitchen, but I can stick a couple of those on the end.
