Hello everybody!

Long time no see ye all ! Yesterday I've seen Michael Flately's "Lord of the Dance" show on video and since that feel shocked :-) (positively) For sure 'tis one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. Does anybody know anything about whether it's been recorded by any rec studio? Could anybody name it? Does anybody know the net sources on subject? In other words I'm realy going to grab "Lord of the Dance" video/CD/DVD with my greedy hands. Any clues on how to do it would be very appriciate. :-) One more thing: if there is anything very alike? Kinda folk/Celtic/etc. based music show/ballet/etc.? Please answer this one too. Thank you. Cheers, Largo

Nay, Ted...

Though I can go to the nearest video shop, I still can not buy any "Lord of the Dance" there. .. :-( Know why? 'case I live in Moscow, Russia and face with certain problems while tryin' follow this kinda advices ('go'n'buy'). Nay, pal, it's not that easy, otherwise I wouldn't ask for help (believe me, my IQ's high enough for "go'n'buy" operations). And thank you for the clue on "Riverdance" - I'll check it up.

So, any other suggestions?

Cheers, Largo

Largo - Nice to have folk from Russia visit here with us.

I'm teaching my Kindergarten kids a Russian tune: "May there always be Sunshine", and I was given the Russian words (phonetically), so they are also singing in Russian. I sure hope we are doing it correctly. Do you know the song?

Largo,

If I were to copy the videos and post them to you, would they make it through the system?

The video system used here is "VHS"

Most modern VCRs can handle all the systems (NTSC etc).Does this present a problem?

Regards Ted

Hi guys!

Hope evreybody's OK all around there. Now, what we have here...

>H. Dulcimer

Yes, it seems to me I know the song and if I do not - I'm about to be sure I could find it easily. Is there this string inthe song: "Pust' vsegda budet solntse" ? It should be. So feel free on asking me any questions about russian songs and that certain one. OK?

>Ted

Hi, Ted ! What do you mean by "...would they make it through the system?.. ", I'm not quite with you, hombre. It's my turn to ask you questions :-) Post? Which way? By net? I'll spend a year and 'alf downloading it. :-) By mail? I bet it'll cost you time, and money. And then how could I return you your money back? Are you going to visit Russia yourself (in this case, you are welcome at my place)? 'case I don't plan visiting Australia for nearest 5-6-7-8-.... years, though they say you've got a perfect diving there.....sigh..... So, Ted, amigo, jis' gimme a clue, OK?

Cheers everybody, Largo

Ted,

about Riverdance. I've just been there and found the company which recorded Riverdance on video and CD, I'll mail their contact guy and maybe will get something about ordering "LOD". So you see, your reply's already workin' :-)

Thank you Spasibo !

G'Day Largo "...would they make it through the system?.." are there problems of pilfering in your postal (Snail Mail) system.

"Time and money" I can spare bit of each "What comes around goes around" Think of it as my contribution to "Glasnost"

I am not likely to be visiting Russia in the next few years as much as I may like to.

I live in Cairns and we have the best diving in the world as the Great Barrier Reef is at our doorstep, you better come here;-)

E mail me your postal address ed42@4kz.com.au

Regards Ted
