Help: Sara(h) Grey

I am trying to locate Sara (sp?) Grey (sp?). She is a folksinger who lived many years ago in Philadelphia. She taught my nursery school class, and was the first person besides my parents to encourage my interest in folk music. She had three sons, Stewart, Jeffrey and David. I know that she has recorded atleast one album - does anyone know where she lives/performs? How to get in touch with her? Any info would be most appreciated.

Sara now lives in England, I believe. She has been back here several times in the last few year to visit and do some concerts...I know some people who probably have an address. If no one else answers, I'll make some inquiries.

A Sarah Grey recording C-38 is available from Folk-Legacy. It is Folksongs and Ballads by Sarah Grey with Ed Trickett. I don't know of any others right off.

Oh, Sara will be in Washington DC May 27 in a concert with Jerry Epstein..if you are nearby, you might want to plan a trip...(A search by Alta Vista search engine turned up many concert schedules for Sara...some past, some future...if you are not familar with it, try it...very powerful!! http://altavista.digital.com/

According to Folk-Legacy's complete 1995 Catalog, the "Folksong & Ballads" C-38 that I mentioned before of Sarah Grey with Ed Trickett, they are out of the old vinyl LPs of this one and have not yet put it out on CD. They make available "generic" cassettes recorded individually from DAT masters and send them out with the original booklets.

The price for the one cassette is $9.98 plus $3.00 s/h (in the US). Use the address from Bill D. or call Caroline, Sandy, or Lee at 860-364-5661 for info or at 800-836-0901 to place an order.
