Not exactly a folk song. Well, okay, not a folk song at all, but I was wondering if perchance anyone who frequents this board might know the chords to "It had better be tonight" by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, from the original Pink Panther. A long while back, some people on the list were able to supply me with the chords to "the sweetheart tree" also by mancini/mercer, and also from a blake edwards movie, so here seemed as a good a place as any to try and track down it had better be tonight. Sorry for the length of this message and the lack of folk music matter. To make up for the latter let me just say, in my opinion, it's a damn shame that Phil Ochs hanged himself 28 years ago. Had he been able to pull through his deperssion, and overcome his writers block, he'd be having a field day today...
