I've never seen Tom Bliss but I can highly recommend Tom Napper, a wizard on mandolin, octave mandolin and especially tenor banjo, nice guy as well.

Have seen them both many times and can highly recommend.
They are a pleasure to listen to and are genuinely nice chaps to boot!

Sadly I think Uxbridge is a tad too far for me (I'm just outside Nottingham) so I will be unable to attend!

Moira and I will be there.
Tom Bliss and Tom Napper were at Maidenhead folk club a few months ago and did a fine night. The Uxbridge Community Centre is also a great venue so this should be a wonderful first concert for the club in its new home.

A bit late from me but it was a good night for the start of the new Uxbridge venue and as Leadfingers said they did a cracking evening. As for the "a bit late" this week we had a singers night with a few more of the old members and a few new faces. See you all (well some of you) for Maggie Holland this month
