In December, our usual 1st Monday session, in the bar of The Rose & Crown, High Street, ASHWELL Herts. UK, transforms itself into a wonderland of communal carol singing. We've been doing it for a few years now, and it's really nice because the momentum comes as much from the regular drinkers as from the 1st Monday people. so ...

The Rose & Crown Festival of Carols and Christmas Songs
Monday 4th December 2006, from around 8:30 pm

Carol sheets are available on the bar (cost £1 for charity) and anyone found not singing will be thrown out.

Be early if you want to get a seat.

Are you doing the mummers play this year?

You're welcome to come along to the Bull in Barton and perform at our folk session

We have folk nights - 13th/27th December & 3rd Jan - all Wednesdays

Sorry I didn't have time to talk to you on Sunday. Things were just being a bit hectic by then.

Ashwell Mummers will, as always, be performing in all 3 pubs in Ashwell, on Friday 5th January starting at 7:30 in The Bushel.

We might be able to make the 3rd Jan. Keep on nudging me and I'll ask once we have a practice.
