I am after a bit of sympathy here because I have had to cancel folk week due to pressures of work and the impending birth of first grandchild -frankly I am gutted but I think hubby is secretly relieved- have a good time everyone I shall be there in spirit.

Seeing as how 1pm is roughly the time on Saturday I have to muster up a party of bearers to deposit the tackle into the cottage, please save us a seat, Mrs Duck! Alternatively, if we could just form a chain of carriers down the Crag...

By the way, we spent all of Warwick FF looking for any Ickle Dorritts - we couldn't find you! I even sported a badge asking "Are You Ickle?" until the gas ring melted the innards. I'v still got the "If not Why not" badge. Quack

See what I have to put up with! Mouldy I suppose a lot of us may be getting organised at 1pm so let's have 4pm as an alternative! Of course those that turn up for 1pm will probably still be there so we'll all catch up .

Geoff the Duck I am mortified that I missed you at Warwick -I spent large amounts of time in the Bowling Green in the singarounds and also drinking Fat Bob in the beer tent. I was also to be found in the Moor and Coast hanging out with friends of an evening. Admittedly I was incognito but then I do like to blend into the crowd. I am sure I would have leaped on you had I spotted your badge. Had a wonderful time

Well why didn't you admit to being there when I put a notice on the board telling Mudcats to call at the Badge stall??? We were taking it in turns with the Ducks to wear our teeshirts and badges. I even put a thread on when we came back looking for you....

Love, Bron.

selby do you have to pack everything twice as well!!!!I've got lots of piles-that is to say everything is ready to go in the bags and then the car so we can set of early tomorrow. I'm not sure there's room for us all but if we tie the buggy to the tow ball the twins could always hang on behind.

An don't forget to WATCH OUT FOR THE SCRATCH! tHIS CAN BE TAKEN AS EITHER AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE wHITBY sCRATCH mORRISMEN Oh Sod the stupid Caps Lock Button!!! I repeat - This can either be taken as an advertisement for the inestimable talents of the Whitby Scratch Morrismen, who re-form each year for another set of "Final Farewell" gigs, dancing opposite the Angel, by Midland Bank, at the East Side Market and anywhere else we can find a crowd. We are usually out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm (meet at the Plough, 12.30) until we run out of steam. Any lost Cotswold Morrismen or musicians welcome. OR you can treat it as a warning that nowhere will be safe on the aforementioned days. YOU WERE WARNED!!!! Quack, Quack, QUACK!!! Geoff the Duck

Yep, the itinerant morrisman (aka SO) is itching to go!! (Sorry, but it's 7am and I've just got up to finish packing). See everyone later today. Typical, though, the weather's just turned naff.

Just returned from another brilliant week of music and beer (not always in that order) Nice to meet a few new faces, TerryK, Mcgrath of Harlow, Wullie to name but three- nice to see you upholding the tradition regarding kilts, Wullie!!!!!! The barbeque was a success and I think Dick and Susan had a good time. See you all again next year.
