Well the only song I know of that has "Hang Up The Phone" is a song by "Forgotten Rebels" the name of the album is "This Ain't Hollywood" the song is "Tell Me You love Me" recorded in 1981. It is a Rock song. The lyrics to the song are listed below. If this in not the song you looking for then let me know and I will do some searching for you.
TELL ME YOU LOVE ME (Before You Hang Up The Phone)
Saw you workin' at the record store
Don't ever break my heart
I remember seeing you on the street
Whisper a kiss and I'll pretend that
Say that you care and you'll always be there
Can't you see how you make me feel
My love ain't no cliche Tell me you love me .... I forgot to tell Joe that the song is a newer song. So we will see what he comes up with this time. Ryan |

Subject: Lyr Add: BREAKFAST AFTER 10 (Blue October) From: GUEST,goalie164 Date: 29 Dec 00 - 03:17 AM i finally found the song at the radio stations web site. blue October – BREAKFAST AFTER 10
white kitchen walls with a thousand windows
and i smell the coffee on your fingers
you gotta make her know how it feels to miss you
so just pick your head up boy and walk away
now i hope she knows I’ve got this memory
and I’ve learned a lot from all these break-ups, and make-ups, and fuck-ups, and fake-ups
you gotta make her know how it feels to miss you
you gotta make her know how it feels to miss you
so just pick your head up boys and walk away that is it everybody. if you get a chance to hear the song, do it, and let me know what you think. maybe you have already heard it. thank you to everybody for your time. Ryan |

Subject: RE: BS: somebody please help me!!!! From: flattop Date: 30 Dec 00 - 03:46 PM You are most welcome goalie164. Spaw's reaction was almost as good as the tender lyric I found. Are you up here in the Great White North or just an enlightenment hockey/music fan who knows The Forgotten Rebels. I saw them live once by accident at a protest at Toronto City Hall. It was before they lightened up and started writing songs like the one you posted. Colonel Sanders died shortly before this protest. The Forgotten Rebels spoke about burying him in a bucket before singing, 'Elvis is Dead, The Big Fat Ass is Dead.' they also sang a song dedicated to Vietnamese Boat People called 'Bomb the Boats and Feed the Fish.' |
