Cheers Bert - you and John B/Trevor had a cracker - John P seemed out of sorts - Thanks to Pat for being the audience

I was sensationally out of sorts - nothing I did; seemed to sound okay to my ears and I was hopeless at deciding what to play

It must have been the full moon

I think I'll look at getting a more versatile effects pedal - maybe that will make my guitar sound a bit more interesting

At least I went shopping around the Co-op/got me divi

I will thank Pat for you - she loves the music evenings.

I thought you played and sung well - there was a full moon.

Perhaps the fangs were getting in the way.

Would you like to borrow my effects peddle for a while - zoom - the power supply is crocked but I will fix it before the next singer-round.

I thought you went out to by a couple of cans of beer?

Cheers Bert - sorry I'm so slow - I couldn't get on Mudcat yesterday

There's a lot on today

And I can't get to any of it - have fun you lucky people

It's a folk/tunes/singaround - all welcome

This Wednesday

Hi Bert - no idea where everybody is - must be summer holidays

Mudcat is struggling somewhat

Lucky old Pat - no audience this week then

I must remember my WD40 this week - banish those squeaky hinges

It would be great if you could make it,

goose grease might be better on the hinges.

Hi Bert

The Blue Anchor is a bigger version than Barton - it's all held in the saloon bar - quite a big room - you can ride a horse in it

Same format - go around the room - sometimes it's two songs each per go - It depends on the numbers there

The hosts train a searchlight on you whilst you sing and a flock of seagulls fly around the room (all dressed as the pope)

Nothing to worry about then Bert - don't wear dark clothes

Yes, that is the northern Piers. I am well thanks. I haven't done much singing lately or got much gossip. I have been working for the man and stuff.

I am meeting Martin from Barton tomorrow, in a place called Hardraw. It sounds rather like the title of a porno movie. Julie Felix is going to be there. I knew she was fairly liberal minded so I'm not sure what to expect. We'll see.

All the best to the Barton le Clay folkies!
