Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: MaineDog Date: 15 Jul 06 - 10:58 AM Not nearly enough! I should have one flat metal one for each griddle and each frying pan, and one little rubber one for each jelly jar and honey pot. Definitely need more. MD |
Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: Tootler Date: 15 Jul 06 - 06:41 PM Yes the little flat metal ones, though one had a spoon at one end. I see from your link that they also come in plastics these days. |

Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: Rapparee Date: 14 Sep 06 - 06:31 PM My God! Unnoted, unreported! This excerpt from the Associated Press: ...Last July, spacewalker Piers Sellers sheepishly reported that he lost a spatula. Nicknamed "spatsat" by space junk watchers, it returns to Earth in a fireball early next month. |
Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: GUEST Date: 14 Sep 06 - 06:33 PM "it returns to Earth in a fireball early next month" That'll be one helluva lot cheaper than a cab . . . . |
Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: Stilly River Sage Date: 14 Sep 06 - 09:26 PM We did discuss it, but it was probably in another venue. This week I found two more tucked away in a drawer that I'd forgotten all about. I was searching because I needed something to reach down in a skinny bottle, and there, in the wrong drawer (no doubt put away months ago by one of my children) in a back corner were two fine slim silicone spatulas. I think they were a christmas gift last year. Lucky me! |
Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 14 Sep 06 - 10:59 PM ...it returns to Earth in a fireball early next month. Wouldn't it be more appropriate for a spatula to return to earth in a vat of hot canola oil? |

Subject: RE: BS: How Many Spatulas Do YOU Own??? From: gnu Date: 13 May 09 - 08:39 PM I was remiss on the day. Had to use a flimsy plastic spatula to divvy up Mum's pizza. With good purchase and care, it was accomplished without incident, but I shant take any more such chances. I shall be at the Dollar Store first on the morrow and purchase a number to avoid such future potential calamity. Welllll, it's 5 to 0 for the Penguins and my regular chat is empty, so I thought I would regale you with my itinerary for spatulas next day. Yes, I do lead an exciting life. I shall be spatula shopping soon. Maybe... I only make pizza every fortgnight or so, so it's not like it's an emergency. OH! The Caps just made it 5 to 1... must get back to the game as it gets exciting..... |
