Haven't gotten to hear them live - except a few times when Frank and Carl were nearby...(doing the strolling minstrel thing) never the whole gang..

yes, they do sterling, and PA which is close enough for me to get to...sometimes.

As will I! MMario, Have you ever heard Double Indemnity's version of this great song? It is, of course, much better done live than recorded. I'm not sure if they do the Sterling show...

Beggars to God is Bob Franke, right? If you want to wait till I get a spare moment in the next few days, I can enter it here for you from the songbook.
Blessings,
Barbara

Is Looney Lucy @ Largo with Double Indemnity? Someday I will hear her live. (Maybe this season, *crossing fingers*) She is always too far away from where I'm working for me to hear her @ Sterling...

Thanks! Right now I am working the Ren Fest of Largo, and I will be seeing Jim again this weekend. Another band I get to see alot is "Double Indemnity," a real pleasure to see. Jim also does a very nice rendition of "Good Companions," hehe.

Back at my own computer and desk....

http://www.numachi.com/~rickheit/dtrad/

is the mirror site....

not as easy to search as Mudcat IMHO - and no discussion forum. But the visible music notation is a benefit if you can read music...

Jim is no longer with Gypsy Guerilla Band, which is good in some ways and bad in others. And yes, Jim is a pleasure to watch play and listen to; *grin*

One of the benefits of working Sterling Ren-faire is that I get to hear him a LOT!

PS - re: sheet music, try the numachi mirror of the DT.. if there is a tune, that site brings up a gif of it with the lyrics.... will post better URL when I get back to my desk
