Hi guitar, sorry about the delay, the chap who borrowed the CD went on holiday for a week. Anyway, this is as transcribed from a Live performance last year, with a translation included for those not familiar with Dundonese!

Very late to the party on this, but enjoying Barbara Dymock's rendition on her Hilbert's Hotel CD at the minute and came looking for the lyrics. Brilliant translation from Effsee, although "Dug-Up Dan" is actually "Dudhope Dan", Dudhope being an area and a park in Dundee.

I know the translation by effsee is humorous and not truly literal, I think one phrase should be looked at. “An never skail a moothfu “ means never spill a mouthful.
