Has announced their chosen site for the National Council for the Traditional Arts
festival will be Butte, Montana, starting 2008.
If you want to check out more about Butte, you can see the Butte phone directory

Click on the map of Montana (third state from the west coast on the Canada border)
then click on Butte and the virtual phone book will open up.

There is also an Irish festival called An Ri Ra every August in Butte. It brings
music and dance entertainers from around the world.

The folks at the National Council for Traditional Arts declined to do anything having to do with Labor or Mining. This ticked off some of the local people, so they've hired yours truly to come up to Butte (my old home) to do some rabble rousing. My schedule is thus;

Fri., July 11- 8PM The Blue Venus on Main St., just N. of Mercury, and around the corner from Venus Alley.

Sat., July 12- 1PM Union Corner, Wyoming & Granite
               11PM MOFAB(Museum of Fine Art, Butte)which is the old YMCA building across Park Street, catty corner from the theater.

THE RAINBOW GATHERING IS NEAR THERE THIS YEAR, TOO.,
AT NOON TODAY THEY HAD A HUGE CIRCLE OF FOLKS HOLDING
HANDS AND CHANTING OM.
