Going up to Newcastle (this coming Wednesday) then on to Berwick for 5 nights. Are there any sessions or folk events happening in Newcastle on Wednesday or Berwick the next few nights that people might recommend? Thanks.

Wednesday Nite in Milford NH at Foodies Pizza on the Oval there is an open mostly Celic session, 7pm

Maybe Charlie Noble can help you, he's just north of Portland.

There's a Friday nite open session in Portsmouth, NH at the Press Room, on Daniels St, but that's a fair dirve from where you'd be.

There's a session in Berwick upon Tweed, England, every Thurs night, but I'm not sure which pub it's in.

There's a (mainly)Irish session on Wednesday nights in the downstairs bar at the Cumberland Arms, Byker, Newcastle. Other musical events happen on most other nights - they're usually free entry downstairs, pay at the door upstairs. See their web page at
