Subject: The texas piper From: monxardin@redestb.es Date: 31 Mar 99 - 12:56 PM I'm looking for any information about "The texas piper", -a galician one that had emigrated to Texas in the twenties, I think- and that published in Argentina one single with two songs ("Oh Susana" and "Two faced heart") -. After hearing it, I think that it was not originally edited in Argentina but that is a copy of another disc. It included not only pipe but banjos, guitars, piano, etc. The name of this piper -if we agree with the oral folk history of Galicia- was Domingo Ferreiro. Thanks for your news. If anyone want the music I may send it by mail(zipped) |

Subject: RE: The texas piper From: catspaw49 Date: 31 Mar 99 - 03:18 PM Thanks there monoxardin...What is that a drug? An Antibiotic perhaps? After reading your chaotic description and then attempting to translate it into meaningful statements, I must comme to the conclusion that even sent zipped, I can't think of anything more hideous. PLease keep it to yourself. I am forever in your debt for not sharing anything more with us. catspaw |
