Yup...!

It was a warm and friendly festival, slightly less spread out than it used to be.

Flossie, Tanglefoot, Harvey and Vin all gave great performances, and the singarounds/sessions were well attended.

The Saturday afternoon concert was good (well, I would say that, being 'top of the bill', wouldn't I?!), and the Songwriters' Competition on Sunday showed a very high standard from the seventeen (yes, 17!) entrants.

The competition was won by Kate Bradbury with 'Butterflies', and second prize went to Keith Carter-Harris with 'The Salt'. The judges were Judy Hancock (of Sad Pig), John and Ailsa Booth, and me. It was a pity to have to pick a winner, the standard was so good - which is so encouraging.

Sorry, forgot to mention that Sad Pig (aka Judy Hancock and Dave Hughes) did a great job of hanging the main hall concerts together.
