My parents 50th wedding anniversary is coming up April 21st and I am making a slide show on a digital photo frame of photographs over the last 50 years for them. I would like to add a mp3 sound file of "Hi Lily Hi Lo". My father proposed to my mother while that song was playing. I have "googled" it for a downloadable mp3 of this song, to no avail, but the search hit on this site. I see discussion in the forum about this song, but don't see where I can get it. If anyone can send me a mp3 or direct me to where I can download one, it would be greatly appreciated.

I found a music box version of it at this site: Click Here and scroll down. The title has a typo and says "Hi Hili.." but it is that song.

Thank you so much for your reply. You are correct, that IS the song I am looking for. However, that site only offers a 17 sec snippet of it. I was hoping to find the whole song to play as background to the slideshow. Any other help would really be appreciated.

there is a midi at the mudcat midi page which might do in a pinch - or you might be able to get someone to fancy it up for you

I think you can get the whole thing as a pay-for-download thing.

On youtube, there is a full video of Leslie Caron singing it: HERE. There are also a couple of other versions at youtube. Just put it in the search box.

Why don't you rent Lili, the movie it comes from? Or better still, buy the sound track as a gift for your parents; an Amazon.com vendor has one copy listed here.

The files that have been suggested (and sent) are great. I will include it on the digital photo frame with the photographs and it will be presented to my parents on a surprise dinner cruise. My younger brother has offered to take my parents out to dinner. What they don't know is that its planned for all five kids (and their families) to be there. It will be the first time in over 25 years we have all been together.
