Subject: Yamaha DX7S keyboard for sale From: Richard Bridge Date: 13 Apr 07 - 09:38 AM Forgive my self-interested promotion of this ebay item I am selling! I need the money to pay for a new guitar. Ebay item 280104414942 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=280104414942&rd=1&rd=1 The classic keyboard synth of all time. Good condition all round. In a flight case that could almost withstand a direct hit from a SAM7 missile. The keyboard is all working perfectly and without fault as far as I know and can establish, but I am no keyboard player. I have checked all the black and whites, a few of the voices, and the volume and bend wheels. No fault found, all sounding fine (through a Marshall guitar amp). The flight case is a fully professional totally robust full-flight case. Aluminium channel, steel corner-joints, turnbuckles, etc. Even the legendary UPS would have trouble breaking this case. They could probably drive forklift truck over it and still not break it. The handle on the flight case is VERY uncomfortable, as the original strap broke and I fashioned one out of some wood and wire coathangers. Reasonably neat, adequately strong, but uncomfy. This flight case alone is worth what DX7s sometimes sell for on here, and would cost you shedloads to build for yourself. Just list all the bits you'd need and check for yourself on the Allan Gordon website. You can price a new handle while you're there. The package altogether is heavy, but I can send it ParcelFarce to the UK for £35, and even they prolly can't break it! ParcelFarce includes £150 insurance. Up to £500 is £10 extra. Keyboard stand also separately available if required (but it makes shipping a bit tricky as it is not designed to go into the flightcase). |
