Hi guys,

I know how great you all are at good thoughts so if you could spare a few it would be much appreciated. Our kitten (well not really a kitten, nearly a year old) has gone missing. She's never been gone for more than an hour before and always comes when she's called. It's only been 24 hours and I know cats do this but I'm still worried sick so positive vibes for her safe return would be splendid especially as one of our other cats is poorly at the moment so happy thoughts are wearing a bit thin

thanks ever so much

Fiona and Chris (and Persephone the AWOL kitten)

Some "kind soul" has probably taken her in.

I'm sending as much positivety as I can for her to return safely.

Hope she turns up safe and well, Raven is busy licking his missing parts at the moment but I'm sure he'd send his regards to his brother's chum.

Like a diamond she is irresitible so most likely she is purring in someones hands. I bet you will learn of her emergency adoption within a week.

Young cats do get frightened and go into hiding. Keep calling her, stop and listen often, and be sure to look up now and then. Hope she's home soon.

{{{{{Fiona/Chris/Persephone}}}}} and lots more where that came from.

Send out a path of Light to envelop her and have it lead/draw her to your house. It's worked for me before and will work for you, too.

Giving thanks she is home and safe,

luvyakat

Sending my good thoughts and prayers.

When she returns, consider keeping your cat indoors. There is really too much danger outside and cats can be kept well stimulated indoors. She will have a longer and more enjoyable life.

Do post the neighborhood with full color posters, with your phone number. And you might check with your nearest neighbors to see if there was a basement door open where the kitten might have gone exploring and got trapped.

We have one cat that has been lost as long as a week, and we still managed to get her back. She's only got 7 lives left at this point and we hope she is getting more conservative with age.

Here's hoping for the safe return of your kitten.

Charley Noble

Good thoughts obviously worked wonders because we've just found her! Turns out the road in front of the house was closed for resurfacing last night so she went for an explore. I think she must have either gotten lost or got frightened and waited until it was quieter to come near enough to hear me calling her. As soon as she heard us she started mewing as loudly as possible until we got to her. She's now had her cuddles and is tucking into her very belated dinner.

Thanks ever so much guys, I know your good thoughts helped get her safely back

Fiona and Chris xx

Fiona & Chris,
Eileen and I are delighted it all went ok.
Catlovers of the world unite.
Kittens are little buggers, aren't they?
Ours went missing after Guy Fawkes night for 36 hrs. then revealed he had been under our garden shed.
He lived for another 17 and a half years.

Pix, I am sooo happy for all of you! We've had so many cats over the years and most of them have pulled one of these stunts a time or two but thankfully most have also returned. There have been a few though............

Funny thing really.......The ones that have gone missing for good were all older and real house nuts who rarely spent more than ten minutes outside at a time. I alwyas figured they ame up on something beyond their limited experience as none of them would have left forever voluntarily.

Also it seems to me that all that have spent a bit of time gone like your kit have never again strayed too far for too long!!!

A tip for the future, for everybody.

I read a book recently by a woman who finds lost pets using tracking dogs. She said that the cat that has been frightened and gone into hiding will invariably be found within 2 or 3 houses of home. Sometimes, though, you can be right next to where it is hiding, and it won't come out.

Still, it is good to know that the lost cat is probably near to hand.

She's pretty much back to her old self now although not straying very far from the back door at the moment. She says she won't do it again but she has a very short memory!

Keeping them inside isn't really an option, we had them in for about three weeks a while back and they hated it. They also bolt out at any opportunity or attempt to squeeze through part opened windows etc. I think they're too used to being able to come and go as they please, although for my part, less go would be a good thing!

Thanks again guys
