Subject: Tech: Miditext Software? From: Bob the Postman Date: 20 Apr 07 - 08:02 PM It must be there, but it has eluded my search. I want to play some of these miditext files you see posted in Mudcat, but all the links I find are stale. I just spent some time downloading something promising from a German language website--I have enough German to do the download but not enough to read the Hilfe files. Can anyone point me to an up-to-date place where this software can be had? |
Subject: RE: Tech: Miditext Software? From: Joe Offer Date: 20 Apr 07 - 08:11 PM Hi, Bob - We're not supporting Miditext any longer, but you can still download it at http://miditext.8m.net/. As I find them, I am replacing Miditext posts with MIDI files, since Jon Freeman has provided me a place to store MIDIs. If you still remember how to use DOS, Miditext is a nifty little program. Using a DOS window in Windows XP or Vista, I can convert a Miditext file to a MIDI in less than a minute. Follow the crosslinked threads above, and you can find out how to use it. -Joe Offer- |
