Subject: Charity Event Lancashire From: GUEST,Martin Ellison Date: 28 Apr 07 - 01:38 PM Greetings to you all - just popping in for a quick announcement. Saturday 19th May at Samlesbury Memorial Hall (near Preston) we are holding a charity evening in aid of Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org). It's also a celebration of Eng.Trad music, dance & song. It's part Ceilidh with "Full English" who are: Me: melodeons Phil Harty (Batty): fiddle/mandolin Peter Gammon: melodeon/trombone Pat Flood: double bass Becky Gammon: percussion Harold Dearden: percussion Caller: Peter Bearon Songs from "One Accord" and Peter & Barbara Snape Dance display by Harry Cowgill (champion clog dancer) There will also be some surprises! Tickets are £5.00 which includes supper from locally sourced food. THERE IS NO BAR - it's a bring your own booze (and glasses) do. 8.00 pm start. ALL proceeds go to charity - no one is being paid.
