HIT " THE WRITE NOTE "@ THE LINCOLN(UK) CENTRAL LIBRARY ON WEDNESDAY 2ND MAY 2007- NOON-2PM

Wednesday, 2nd May is the next date in this popular mid-week monthly
acoustic music session for singer songwriters and musicians, which is held at Lincoln Central Library in Free School Lane and runs from
noon-2pm.

"The Write Note" is an opportunity for musicians to try out something
original, traditional or contemporary, on an acoustic instrument.
The session is open to both performers and people who just want to
listen and enjoy the live sounds. Why not combine it with a visit to the Library? Tea and coffee available too.

A full range of dates for the rest of 2007 at the Library has been
agreed, including a couple of special additional events. There's a
songwriters special to tie in with the Lincoln Literary Festival on
Thursday 17th May. (noon-2pm) where musicians are asked to introduce and talk about a song they like or have written and then perform it.

I will be bringing Simon Johnson along with me - singer/songwriter, plays guitar and piano, but I don't suppose the piano will be worth it :-)
