Sorry about that - went to post a link and hit submit! As i was saying - Leadfingers is coming over in May and June and we'll be doing a couple of gig together.

May 26 and June 1st we'll be at The Blarney Stone

This is in Fredericksburg, VA about halfway between Richmond and DC.

On May 27th (that's memorial day weekend) we'll be at Pat Troy's Ireland's Own . This is in the heart of Old Town Alexandria and it should be a great evening. The pub is very convivial, good food and a nice atmosphere!

I'll be doing a solo gig at Ireland's own a couple of weeks prior to that, on May 13th (Mother's Day).

Oh and I might as well get in a plug for Seamus Kennedy - I believe he will be doing a special show at Ireland's Own on May 20th!

Gulliver, I really do a variety of stuff but I prefer traditional ballads and songs. In pubs, I do a lot of Clancy Brothers/Dubliners type material - seems to go over well!

I heard them both in Portaferry and I remember Leadfinger's songs (because you wouldn't forget them in a hurry!) but I drifted into an alcoholic haze at some part of the evening and unfortunately what's left of my memory didn't retain Mary's singing...

Well, I just saw Leadfingers off back toward Maryrrf's place. He arrived just in time, and I knew it was him because he does indeed look just like that chesspiece Micca pointed out to us...

We had a nice chat, then went out toward lunch. I was a bit lacking in my navigation skills, and missed a crucial turn right at the beginning, and didn't see a crucial turn right near the end. So my leg of his holiday was the loop-di-loop portion. Oh well. It gave us more time for chatting -- though, honest, that wasn't my intention (really)! And he should be back to Marryrf's place in time for supper.

He was able to cross me off his Mudcatter's life list, and I could cross him off mine. Now, the only thing left is to get Maryrrf in on our next meeting. Of that, there's no doubt!

Our Colonial cousins obviously wanted to make me feel at home ! Not even out of Chesapeake and the radio tells me that I664 is going to be totally close for two hours ! As bad as the MI on a Friday afternoon .
Took me twice as long to get back to Mary's as it did to get to Capri Uni's place - But I can report that she is just as much fun to meet as to chat to !!
