Subject: Poacher's Christmas From: NachoMama Date: 05 Apr 99 - 08:44 PM Does anyone know the lyrics to a parody of 12 days of Christmas called (seemingly) A Poacher's Christmas? It starts out "On the first day of Christmas me dog and I brought back a partridge in an old sack". We heard and taped it years ago from NPR, but it was a bad signal with lots of static and so we have never been sure of the exact words to some of the lines. The version we heard was sung by British or possibly Australian singers. Thanks PS "The thing for me is good strong tea for the angel said no-ale." |
