Check before you post.....sorry for the typos....

....the road with the pub on, is the one not labelled between Watery St. and the dual carriageway. It is still Meadow St. on the either side of the dual carriageway -

Get off tram at Shalesmoor.

Turn back up the hill (the way you have just come) following the tram tracks and take first right - pub is there.

By car from "University Roundabout" - down the hill towards Middlewood/Hillsborough - take first left, the first set of traffic lights. Pub is there.

hereis a link - the road withthe pub on is the blank one between Watery St and the duyao carriageway, and it is still Meadow St. on the other side of the dual carriageway.

I would think that the best bet would be to take the tram heading towards Middlewood or Malin Bridge from the centre of town.   Then get off at Shalesmoor. I'm not sure of the directions from there but it isn't far.

Might try and make it on the Sunday afternoon dependant on how the box packing / unpacking is going.

Has the Sunday afternoon established a format yet?   ie more tune than singing/ more singing than tune. Chorus / solo or just anything goes ?

J

Phone number? Accessible by bus? I'm staying in Sheffield and no one in town seems to have heard of the place, so I assume it's a it out...

There's a new kid on the block The Meadow Street Hotel on (surprise surprise) Meadow Street just round the corner from the Cask and Cutler. Run by Sharon, who is a fine singer herself and used to frquent the old Harlequin and Red House. She has started music at weekends. I played last night (Fri 11th) Patick Walker is on tonight and it's an open session on Sunday afternoon. Real Ale will be on sale soon.
