Subject: Welshpool Market Jam. From: Llanfair Date: 14 May 07 - 02:14 PM Now that the music licence has come through, we can make public the news that Market traders at Welshpool are whiling away the quiet Saturday afternoons singing and playing folk tunes. Markets are in decline all over the country, and diversification is as important to us as to the farmers. Welshpool has a huge market hall with brilliant accoustics, and we start playing at 2pm ish. Any musicians in the vicinity will be made very welcome, and we can always use listeners!! That's Welshpool, Powys, on the Welsh side of the border. Ideal stopping place between Birmingham and the coast!! |

Sian.....I'll be in touch, thanks. Trevor....We've only just started, so there's only Sue, who plays fiddle, and me, of course. Sue writes great songs, but is a bit shy about performing them.
