Austin Area Folk Clubs

Does anyone know of any folk (celtic, etc..) associations in the Austin, TX area (esp. North Austin, Round Rock, GeorgeTown) - folks
who just like to get together and share music ? Would anybody (in the general area of Austin) be interested in forming one ?

Sorry - hit the wrong button above. There is an Austin Celtic Society (not sure of the name) and there is an Austin Celtic Festival (usually in the fall) -you might "google" either of those to aid in your search. Also, if you "google" the Texas Celtic Network you may find Heather Gilmer and/or Jeff Moore - both active in the Austin Celtic music scene - listed there. Gilmer and Moore may also be listed at the Southwest Celtic Music Association website (www.scmatx.org)under, well,..."musicians."

There is also a pub down in Austin called "Mother Egan's," and another
called "Fado" - a phone call to either may help you as well.
Ed Miller also lives in Austin but I don't know how accessible he is -big time, you know. Hope it helps. Cheers.
