For those of you who can't get into the IRC chatroom, or who might want to use ICQ as an occasional alternative, please come on over to the Folksie Lady list. It is solely for the discussion of folk/Celtic/world music. We've even had a few chats. (ok, they were some moons back, but still fun and informative) I'd love to have a good bunch of Mudcatters hanging around at various times.
I'll always be in "free to chat" mode when online. I live in the US but am up during most of the strange hours here. You can add me to your list with my number: 24168594. Even if I'm not around the chat can be minimized and people added automatically, so you never know who might be there.
