Subject: Festival Links Updates From: Joe Offer Date: 25 May 07 - 03:42 PM I've just finished cleaning up our Festival Links Page. All of the links are up-to-date, except that I need to track down Chanteyranger for up-to-date information on my favorite festival, the Festival of the Sea in San Francisco. I edited out all temporal information from the link descriptions, so we're no longer advertising 2004 festivals. If there are corrections or description rewrites to existing links, please post them here in this thread. Please check to see that your favorite festival is listed. If you'd like to submit a link, please do. If it's for a festival, please specify the location and time of year, and a short description of what's special about that particular festival. Please remember that links are more-or-less permanent, so don't submit links for one-time events. Thanks. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: Festival Links Updates From: Joe Offer Date: 25 Apr 09 - 12:57 AM Well, I see the last time I got motivated to do this was almost exactly two years ago. I put "Festival" in the Filter and was amazed at how many folk festivals are NOT on our links page. If you have a favorite festival, think about posting a link to its Website. I'm also working on updating our Singing Sessions and Clubs links, and I finished online music Actually, it was Gargoyle who got me going on this. He directed somebody to our online media links, and I looked and saw they were badly in need of updating. Thanks, garg. -Joe- |
