Hope you don't mind that I moved you over to a specifically-titled thread. Can you tell us anything more about the song? Who sings it, what are the lyrics, where did you hear it?
If you have lyrics, please post what you know of the song. Titles can be misleading, so it's best to share whatever you have.

There's a broadband connection at the Women's Center, so I was able to watch YouTube for the first time. The video for this cut was terrific.

Does anybody out there know who owns the rights to the song lyrics or if they are public domain?

"Traditional" lends me to believe they are so old they can be recorded by whomever.
