Hi everyone,

Just a quick message to let you know that BBC Award winning trio Uiscedwr are back on the road tomorrow (Thursday 14th June) kicking off their uk tour at the Lincoln Drill Hall. click here for website and ticket info.

This is the first tour for Uiscedwr since fiddler Anna Esslemont underwent a bone marrow transplant in December 2006 so please come along and show your support of this tremendous group of musicians. Tomorrow marks the 4th gig of the tour and so far audiences have been blown away by the show - get your tickets now!!

Uiscedwr will also be at the Oysterband's Big Session Festival on Friday 15th June, then up to the Big Tent Festival in Fife on Saturday. For all the other dates have a look at the website

Uiscedwr means water in Irish and Welsh.
This is a UK tour, starting, as above, in Lincoln.
The band were Young Folk Award winners, I think 5 years ago.
And it is fantastic to welcome Anna back on the road.

Excellent news! We'll have to book you in for an 'appearance' on Sounds of Folk again - this time on Oldham Community Radio (They've already joined us on BBC GMR and Radio Britfolk).
