Back when I first posted this, Joe Offer contacted me and asked if I would put the lyrics and information from the old thread together for the DT, so I did. It will be in the next edition of the database (same with My Lagan Love).

Incidentally, Christy (mistakenly) refers to Robbie McMahon as the author, in the book. Mudcatters know better!

Hi, dick, I just noticed that the original lyrics to Spancil Hill are not in the database. It is still the modern revised version as recorded by Christy Moore. If someone wants the original, they have to do a forum search and get if from the Spancil Hill thread. When will it go into the database? Thanks.
