Subject: New folk music at Woven Wheat Whispers From: GUEST,Mark Coyle Date: 17 Jun 07 - 06:50 AM Hello everyone, (apologies if I shouldn't post this here, do feel free to email and let me know if this is the case). June 2007 > Albums Update Newsletter We are delighted to announce the addition of thirty one new albums to our legal folk music download service. To view go to http://www.wovenwheatwhispers.co.uk As always we're delighted to present an exciting selection of albums from... - The Bully Wee Band - All four albums from the classic traditional / acoustic folk British band of the 1970s and early 1980s plus their great new live set. - The Men They Couldn't Hang - Nine albums from one of the leading roots-rock bands and their spin-offs combining folk, acoustic pop, rock and roll, country and sixties R&B with the spirit of punk. Includes our album of the month from Swill. - 1549 - A concept album of electric folk from a new artist that is already gathering great praise amongst folk fans. - Amy Duncan - A vocal and songwriting talent you simply must hear. An extended EP that everyone should hear. - Lynn Craig - traditional interpretations inspired by the Liverpool scene of the 1960s that really captures the mood - Ivor and Kevan Bundell - two albums of quality singer-songwriter / traditional folk - Temple Music - the second in their Green Man series is a set of intoxicating, improvised experimental medieval music. Plus more albums from: Brendan O' Loughlin (melodic Celtic folk) Ciniflo Ferox (low-fi experimental acoustic music and songs) Eddie Lawler (new album of wry observations from Saltaire singer-songwriter) Martin Francis (two charming albums of singer songwriter / traditional) Martin Ward (strong debut acoustic song EP) Sedayne (two albums, one a reissue with a free additional album and a new exclusive narrative work) Gerry Lockran (a free live set available with the permission of his family) New Payment Methods We now have a streamlined process to use for our customers that use PayPal. This is called 'PayPal Express' and should prove quicker but with all the usual security. To use the new checkout approach just click the prominant PayPal button that now appears. We have also launched a new standalone service for secure processing of debit and credit cards that is proving very popular. To finish... Next month sees leading artist Jez Lowe join our service and a fantastic range of other albums (we have a new 'Coming Soon' section to view at the site). Watch out too for some new customer features coming at the site during July to further enhance using our service. Many kind thanks cheers Mark |
