Hello all,

this is just a quick email to invite any musicians, singers, bands, performance sides, labels and distributors looking for routes to distribute their music to get in touch with us at Woven Wheat Whispers (see Woven Wheat Whispers).

We are a legal folk and related music download service operating out of Nottingham in the UK. We support artists across the world from the start of their music through to those who are full time professionals with an enduring career. We have a broad definition of folk and related music and aim to build a sense of community around the service to bring artists and customers closer together.

We always try to provide a supportive professional service with details at the site to read about how it works (see the link at the bottom of this post). For example artists can view, report & extract their sales on line at any time in a dedicated portal and request payment. They also receive an automated email every time their music is downloaded so they can track this themselves on an ongoing basis.

We launched in late 2005 and now support hundreds of musicians. We also help folk clubs, charitable causes and special projects. Artists such as Derek Brimstone, Saga, Bully Wee, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Wizz Jones, Jez Lowe and Ken Nicol all now use the service with a growing range of artists working with us each month. We are regularly featured on a number of podcasts, online radio and in a range of magazines and review sites which helps us get the word out to promote the music. We don't require exclusivity or any money from artists and all copyright remains with the originator (this is core to our ethos).

So if you are a musician, label, distributor or aggregator seeking a supportive music service please don't hesitate to get in touch for a chat using this link Email Service Manager.

Even if you are just interested in what we do, please do feel free to email us. We're always delighted to chat with those who appreciate or support traditional / folk / world and related music..

Many kind thanks for your time

Mark Coyle
