If is a "kid" site. I had no problems other than a fairly slow load, but lots of such places have been checking to see if you're on a list ... .... Maybe you've got cookies from someplace suspect?

The new Betty looks a lot like the obnoxious little 14 y.o. whiz kid from the "Judge Parker" comic strip that my local rag carries for unknown reasons.

I like 'em. They look more like real people, now. Every summer I got to spend a dime a day for two weeks on comic books. Alternated between Superman, Casper and Archie. Glad to see Betty and Veronica are still around.

This should shake American culture to its foundations. Betty and Veronica, still living in Riverdale, have been given a whole new look. Leaner, keener, and decidedly less innocent-looking, our favorite small town gals who seemed to be forever stuck in the late 50's have transformed themselves into modern day suburban sophisticates who can give Paris Hilton a run for her money!

Yes indeed. They look realer now. But it's still Betty and Veronica, still facing those same burning questions that they always did.
