With only 5 days to go before England goes smokeless so to speak, and as a connoisseur of the art of puffing on the sly, I felt that the passing of the secondary smoke era should not go unmarked. And so, with my deepest apologies to the memory of Sydney Carter, whose original I butchered, I offer you this new version of his Christmas song:
