There was a song I heard years ago by Ian Wallace on "My Music" and I'm pretty sure it was called "Leaning" And NO! I don't mean "Leaning On The Lamp post" OK ALL??!!

I only remember a bit of the lyric and would like to know the song's history and get the complete lyrics. The chorus started thus:-

"I'm leaning on the gate beside the pond
That lies beside the hedge where my old dog do lie
It's just across from there I see
The sunlight glinting through the trees".... etc

Hope someone remembers this song and can help.

AND PS: IT'S NOT "LEANING ON THE LAMP POST" OK!!!

Asked Mr. Google for "leaning on a gate". There it was, first response. I'm slipping tho, my record is 1 minute.

I tried all that sort of thing Sorcha but to no avail. You must have the magic touch.I wrote in the link at the bottom of the lyric page and still nothing...oh well.
