Subject: Lyr Req: Contemporary Song re Grown Huck & Tom From: Ebbie Date: 24 Jul 07 - 03:32 PM A muscian friend of mine sings this. (These evenings he is busy playing league baseball so I won't see him until the fall.) I would like to have the lyrics but I'm not able to give much direction to it. One discovers late in the song that it is Huck Finn who is speaking to Tom Sawyer. Tom is a successful businessman/lawyer/whatever while Huck hasn't changed much. I no longer remember who wrote the song but I assume it is a fairly recent one. Does anyone know this song? Mudcatters haven't failed me yet! |
