does anyone have any musical pet loves,or favourite music.
I love americans who sit quietly, appreciate traditional music listen, applaud, and then tip generously.
Concertinas,but not in large numbers.
Bach,The Irish Harp,and Nightingales song.

Someone whom you normally hear singing in a public setting just sitting and singing like there's no one else around. I once heard Liam O' Maonlai (sp?) of Hothouse Flowers sing the Lord's Prayer in Irish, sitting with him on the floor in the hallway of a Clarion hotel at 3 in the morning.

Concertina players who sound like the Velvet Undergound - which is most of the good ones when they build up a head of steam. It sends me into a state of almost hallucinatory bliss.

No word of a lie.

Cheers

Nigel

The last set of the night (or of the festival) when the performers have finished playing their entire set list and start to improvise.
