Albert Lee does it in G so it's....

(G) I may look like a (Em) city (Eb) slicker
(G) Shinin' (D7) up through the (G) shoes
(G) Underneath, I'm just a (Em) cotton (Eb) picker
(G) Pickin' (D7) out a mess of (G) blues

(C) Show me where I (G) start
(C) Find a horse and (G) cart
(Eb) I'm just a (Bb) country boy
(Eb) Country boy at (G) heart

I use either Ab7 or Fm, I think. I'd be much more useful on Mudcat if they provided a guitar in the office.

Subject: Chords Add: COUNTRY BOY (Albert Lee, Colton, Smith
From: GUEST,michaelr

From memory; there may be more to it:

(C) I may look like a (Am) city (*) slicker
(F) Shinin' (G) up through the (C) shoes
(C) Underneath, I'm just a (Am) cotton (*) picker
(F) Pickin' (G) out a mess of (C) blues

(F) Show me where I (C) start
(F) Find a horse and (C) cart
(Bb) I'm just a (F) country boy
(Bb) Country boy at (A) heart

* = try X02110 (not sure what to call this, it's a sort of A-minor/major 7th)

Cheers,
Michael

The song's on youtube.

I can't today but will in the next two if no one does first. Other than the flash, it's fairly straight forward. Friggin' guy has 92 fingers.

Subject: Lyr Add: COUNTRY BOY (A Lee, T Colton, R Smith)
From: charles92027

I'm trying to find the chords for the song below, please.
thanks,
cj

COUNTRY BOY
(Albert Lee, Tony Colton, Ray Smith)

I may look like a city slicker
Shinin' up through the shoes
Underneath, I'm just a cotton picker
Pickin' out a mess of blues

Show me where I start
Find a horse and cart
I'm just a country boy
Country boy at heart

I may look like a bank teller
Pushin' facts in a file
But I'd rather be a hog-caller
Suuuuweeee! Good home style

Show me where I start
Find a horse and cart
I'm just a country boy
Country boy at heart
