Show of Hands were marvellous at Sidmouth last night playing to a capacity audience in the Ham Marquee.
Steve Knightley and Phil Beer were augmented by a superb double bass player Miranda ? who was also a fine harmony singer and the playing and singing of the band was excellent.
Standouts for me was song about the young man who goes diving only to find that his boat [ and his father ] has drifted away and he is alone on the ocean...wonderful songwriting .
