Subject: gigs in UK From: Noah Zacharin Date: 06 Aug 07 - 03:33 PM Hi there y'all. I met some of you at Ormstown, and learned that a significant proportion of Mudcatters are in the UK. I'm returning in November for my 2nd tour there, and am looking for suggestions of listening venues that pay. I write/sing/play blues, folk, bluegrass, country, jazz. Much of my own, some covers of old blues, a few select 60's pop tunes (down in the boondocks, whiter shade of pale, all fingerpicked.) I don't do much trad material anymore, though I did Wild Mountain Thyme at some of the shows the last time around. Any help would be appreciated. Also planning to return next May/June, so ideas for fests would be welcome too. Carry on then... |

It covers mostly the N.West of England but is getting more and more info every issue for the whole of the UK. Just search folk orbit and up it comes. |
